Online Hotel Reservation Made easy with www.spotaroom.com

02 June 2010 - I've been to various countries in all my life and have always used an online hotel reservation website to book my accommodation. May it be a week's holiday in Gold Coast, Australia or even as near as Singapore but as a Malaysian, I've always relied on family - may it be cousins staying at the place I'm going to visit or a crashing at a close friend's apartment. I'm mainly based in Kota Kinabalu Sabah, so if I would to go to Kuala Lumpur, I would call up a friend over there and ask for a spare room. I can consider myself a cheapskate, so budgeting my trips is a must. However, there will be times when I'll be out of luck when it comes to asking favours from friends or family outside Kota Kinabalu. So my best option is to always look online for a budget hotel. I find it hard to search for affordable accommodations when it comes to Malaysia. There are very limited local based websites that cater to these types of bookings. Thankfully, through BandWidth Street Press, I found www.spotaroom.com. Since I travel a lot to Penang and Kuala Lumpur, I found that spotaroom.com offers quite a satisfying number of budget hotels.

The looks of the website is crisp with its clean green, white and grey colour scheme. Green is always pleasing to the eye. Fonts are easily readable and the website has quite a good response time. What I'm amazed is that the website offers a much more discounted rate than the actual rate the hotels are offering which is the more reason why this website should be used to book your hotels.

www.spotaroom.com may be able to improve its current state by filling up those empty links such as the - pub and clubs section, dining promo and tour packages. It also needs to add more hotels to its database in order to fully make people to start to want to visit and utilise this website. Perhaps over time they will indeed grow their database of hotels. To have a look at the website, visit www.spotaroom.com
